Decomposing body found in shallow grave in Spanish Town
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The decomposing body of an unidentified male was found in a shallow grave in Welch Heights district, Spanish Town, St Catherine this morning, the police have reported.
It is about 182 centimetres (6 feet) long, medium build and was clad in a white merino, multi-coloured underpants, black pants and a pair of black socks.
Reports from the Spanish Town police are that residents saw a body protruding from a shallow grave about 10:30 am and alerted them.
On arrival of the lawmen, the scene was processed and the body removed.
Investigations continue.
