UPDATE: ‘Speckles’ Clarendon most wanted killed
CLARENDON, Jamaica — The police are now confirming with OBSERVER ONLINE that Clarendon’s most wanted fugitive, Nico Walters otherwise called ‘Speckles or Freckles’ was killed during a confrontation with lawmen in the Effortville community of Farm shortly before midday.
Walters, 22, was listed among Jamaica’s most wanted a few months ago for shooting with intent, which was allegedly committed against the police.
He is said to be aligned to the Red Square Gang.
Residents of the community told OBSERVER ONLINE that a policeman was also shot and injured in what they claim was a gun battle with Walters shortly after 11: 00 am.
Both men were taken to hospital where ‘Speckles’ later died.
