Spalding Cup: Innswood 54-1 in reply to STETHS’s 165
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Innswood High are 54-1 in their first-innings response to hosts St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) at lunch on Wednesday’s second day of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Financial Group Spalding Cup cricket match in Santa Cruz.
Opener Mark James, on 23, Carlos Brown, on 10, are the not out batsmen for Innswood.
Earlier resuming from their overnight score of 141-6, STETHS were bowled out for 165.
Scores: STETHS 165 (72.2 overs); Innswood 54-1 (16 overs)
STETHS lower order batsman Odane Thompson ended unbeaten on 45.
Andre McCarthy and Nigel Palmer made respective scores of 35 and 30 on Tuesday.
Innswood captain and slow left arm orthodox bowler Jeavor Royal ended with figures of 6-50.
