Above Water, the latest single by up-and-coming reggae act Jah Lil, is a musical testament to the struggles and triumphs of life in Jamaica.

The reggae track is produced by the Grammy-nominated writer/producer Ziah Push, of Habitat Studios and is being released via Give Thanks Music/Out Deh Records.

With Jah Lil’s soulful vocals and emotive delivery, the song delves into the challenges many people face, serving as an encouragement to stay afloat amidst adversity and emphasising the importance of keeping one’s head above water to navigate life’s turbulent currents successfully.

Jah Lil shares his excitement about the release, stating, “Above Water is more than just a song; it’s a reflection of the resilience ingrained in the Jamaican spirit. Jah Lil is currently working on his debut album as well as preparing for upcoming performances at Somewhere Wonderful, set for February 10 at Skyline Levels; and the Lost In Time Festival on February 24 alongside event conceptualiser and recording artiste Protoje and a plethora of other artistes.

He is also billed for a number of shows in Europe for this summer.
