YOLVINTA: WoMan collection

CANEX Weekend Algeria 2024, held from October 16 to 19, was an extraordinary gathering of creative entrepreneurs from Africa and the diaspora. In the mix was Jamaican designer Romario Clarke, the creative director for design house Yolvinta. “I was honoured to represent the Caribbean as the only designer from the region. The event was primarily hosted at SAFEX in Algiers, a hub of activity where I unveiled my collection in the exclusive lounge and buyers’ showroom, attracting attention from industry professionals and potential collaborators. I also had the privilege of pitching my brand, Yolvinta, to prospective investors, sharing its unique fusion of vintage and contemporary fashion. The grand finale runway show, featuring my latest collection alongside renowned African designers, took place in the breathtaking Garden of the Sofitel Hotel, offering a picturesque setting to close the event in style,” Clarke shared with the
Style Observer.

The
WoMan collection by Yolvinta is a celebration of feminine strength, elegance, and resilience. Drawing inspiration from the multifaceted nature of women, this collection intertwines bold architectural lines with delicate, flowing silhouettes. Each piece embodies a blend of historical influences and modern sensibilities, showcasing the duality of softness and power that defines today’s woman.
WoMan is not just a tribute to femininity; it’s an exploration of the intricate balance between strength and grace, crafted for the woman who commands her presence with confidence and poise.
