Sunday @ EITS Café

Sunday, January 12, was a beautiful day in the cool hills of the Blue Mountains — a perfect setting for EITS (Europe In The Summer) Café’s signature event, Brunch N Beats.

Nestled along 17 Mile Post, the café delivered a full-circle moment as it hosted a special edition of the beloved brunch series. True to its name, Brunch N Beats pairs exceptional food with vibrant music, courtesy of an in-house DJ or live musician. Each staging also features a guest chef, often a long-time friend or integral part of the EITS Café story.

Sunday’s guest of honour was British-born Chef Robert “Rob” Thunder, a culinary expert with over two decades of experience across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, UK, and Australia. Chef Rob has a passion for plant-based cuisine and played a pivotal role in launching EITS Café when he moved to Jamaica in 2011. His return to the café for Brunch N Beats was a homecoming steeped in flavour and nostalgia.

The curated menu fused EITS Café favourites with Chef Rob’s plant-based inspirations, complemented by specially crafted cocktails from Rum Fire and Select Brands.
