Page 2 continues the festive affair that was technology consultant Christopher Reckord and entrepreneur Jimmy Joseph’s 60th birthday party at The New Cellar8 Wine.Bar.Bistro held on Monday, February 10.

The occasion was one for the books — heartfelt speeches, appreciation, and reflection as the
Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards judges expressed gratitude to the large gathering for joining them on this important milestone. Although he jokingly revealed that he was not initially on board with the idea of a grand celebration, Reckord was nonetheless a picture of appreciation for the overwhelming support meted out to both himself and Joseph.

“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for coming. Jimmy didn’t want to do this. I didn’t want to do this. Jimmy, thanks for buckling under the pressure like I did,” shared Reckord.

Joseph, for his part, was particularly thankful for the decadent chocolate cake from Angelie Martin Spencer, one of the four different types prepared for the occasion, as well as being able to share the moment with fellow celebrants, brand developer Fern Proctor and Sian Associates Managing Director Sharon Roper.

Here are more highlights from the festivities. See more on Social pages 10 & 11.
