#OsbourneToBeYours

I would never fall in love again until I found her

I said, “I would never fall unless it’s you I fall into”

I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her

I found you

…. Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez

Attorney-at-law Olivia Harris and process automation analyst Oneil Osbourne’s love story unfolded as a courageous leap of faith that led them to their happily-ever-after. In an intimate ceremony, the couple exchanged vows on December 28, 2024, at Hope Botanical Gardens in St Andrew. While it seemed destined, their path to each other required hard work and spiritual guidance.

Their journey began in October 2022 when they met at Ecclesia Family Ministries, assisting the church with their music ministry. Their first impressions of one another, however, were somewhat mixed.

“We didn’t know each other before that. But after my first encounter with him, I thought he was reserved and he thought I was bossy,” Olivia told Tuesday Style Vows (TSV). Despite his seemingly reserved nature and her so-called bossy persona, a connection began to form. Although the attraction was mutual, they decided not to act on it and remained friends, even with subtle nudges from friends and family.

“I always thought we had a connection from the day we met but neither of us said anything. Our friends and family always hinted that we had a connection but we would just hang out in our friend groups and not address the elephant in the room,” Olivia said.

Yet their feelings for each other couldn’t be ignored. It would take a year, but with constant prayer, they decided to give each other a chance, and started dating in October 2023. What took a year to develop, would manifest quickly and they knew instantly that they each had found their soulmates.

“When we both realised that there was something more than mere friendship, we prayed about it and got the green light from God to start dating. By November 2023, he asked me to officially be his girlfriend and on Christmas Day that year, he told my parents that he was going to marry me,” Olivia said. “It wasn’t a single event that made me realise he was the one. It was everything. It was his heart and how everything perfectly aligned with a divine setup. Because of this, our wedding hashtag was #OsbourneToBeYours because we strongly believe that we were born for each other.”

With Olivia’s parents giving their blessing, the couple began planning their wedding. However, one thing was still missing to complete their journey: The proposal. On May 26, 2024 Olivia got her wish.

“He was taking me home after dinner and as soon as we got inside there were candles and petals inside with the sign ‘Marry Me’. He went down on one knee and officially popped the question surrounded by friends and family,” Olivia said.

For the special day, Olivia wore a custom gown by Simply Majestic. The ceremony began on an emotional note as Olivia, escorted by her father, Danovan Harris, walked up the aisle to Phil Wickham’s Till I Found You, sung by her friend Kenneka Rust. Guided by Bishop Hugh Dixon, the couple exchanged vows, sealing their union in a significant way.

“What was very special about the day was that we chose to save our first kiss for the moment we were pronounced husband and wife,” Olivia said.

The festivities continued at the same venue, where guests enjoyed an elaborate banquet by Annette’s Catering. Formalities included the cutting of a five-tier lemon cake provided by Olivia’s mother, Paula Harris. In a departure from tradition, instead of the bouquet toss by the bride, Olivia gave all the single ladies a red rose. Olivia and ONeil shared their first dance as husband and wife to Stephen Sanchez’s Until I Found You.

The newly-weds honeymooned at Moon Palace Hotel in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
