Some of the diaspora’s major movers and shakers were at this year’s The UWI Toronto Benefit Awards, held at the Ritz- Carlton in Toronto on April 26.
The evening of recognition, now in its 16th iteration, raises funds in support of scholarships for Caribbean students.
This year’s theme, Bridging the Gap, reflects the UWI’s unwavering promise to Caribbean students and their communities, organisers said.
