The Hub Coworking: Where comfort and modern productivity meet by If Walls Could Talk [PART 2]
For The Hub Coworking’s new location, the vision was to design a workspace that seamlessly merged the familiarity of a home office with the structure of a corporate environment. Bringing this vision to life was the creative partnership with acclaimed interior design firm If Walls Could Talk, under the direction of lead designer Joelle Smith. Smith is also the co-founder and managing director of The Hub Coworking, which made the project a true labour of love.
The Power of Murals
Throughout the Hub, wall murals play a subtle yet powerful role in guiding the eye and encouraging creativity. These carefully curated murals define distinct zones, offering visual pauses that nurture focus, spark inspiration, and create a sense of spaciousness.
Balancing Comfort and Productivity
Every design decision, from plush seating to acoustic finishes, like the velvet curtains in the first-floor meeting room, was made with intention. A combination of lounge seating, benches, bistro tables and modern desks, support a spectrum of working styles, while small details like the foosball table, game table and library encourage playfulness, alertness and creativity.
A Collaborative Community, by design
The Hub’s design is more than just an office; it is a framework for connection. Cosy lounges nurture deep thought, collaborative zones lift the mood, and the flow between floors feels as intuitive as moving through one’s own home. Thanks to the vision and expertise of Joelle Smith and the If Walls Could Talk team, The Hub stands as a vibrant example of how workspace can be as inspiring and welcoming as it is functional and forward-thinking.
