Active Home Centre Launches Designer Programme

The culmination of months of planning came to fruition on Wednesday, October 15, as Active Home Centre launched its Designers’ Programme. The by-invitation-only reveal, held at the company’s impressive Constant Spring showroom, afforded interior designers, architects and project managers access to the programme’s benefits.

Marketing Executive Brittany Warren in her welcome underscored the programme’s specific desire to cater to the needs of architects and designers.

“Tonight is all about you — the visionaries who turn spaces into experiences, and we can’t wait to share what our new designer programme has in store,” Warren said. “We’ve designed this programme to make your design journey easier and more rewarding.”

It was now the turn of Marketing Executive Tammy Graham to detail the programme’s new features, designed to enhance the professional experience while sharing the company’s vision for a fruitful and collaborative experience for both designers and architects.

“At Active, our vision has always been the trusted source for all home improvement needs in Jamaica. Over the years, we’ve seen how much designers and architects have set the stage for what’s trending. You guide clients through important decisions, and bring dreams to life,” Graham shared. “ This programme is a way of deepening that partnership and making your experience with us even better. We recognise that what you do takes creativity, patience, and a lot of coordination.”

A key feature of the programme is the new design studio — an exclusive, fully equipped space created specifically for designers and architects. Graham highlighted that the studio offers a comfortable and inspiring environment, allowing professionals to meet with clients, explore finishes, and seamlessly co-ordinate material selection.

Graham concluded the presentation by sharing the Active Home Centre team’s eagerness to foster an enhanced collaborative partnership through the new programme.

“We look forward to designing together and being on this journey with you. We’re not just a store. We are a partner in this journey, and we cant wait to work together a lot more,” Graham said.

Chief Financial Officer Janet Higgins Brown and Retail Manager Stacy Simpson Myers walked guests through the programme’s benefits and fielded questions from those eager to benefit from the programme.

Formalities closed with a tour of the showroom and a glimpse of large- format tiles with different finishes allowing them to be used both indoors and out, a wide range of wall décor tiles, top-of-line bathroom faucets by Delta, and new slim Shaker kitchen cabinets which come in oak and white. There was, too, a wide range of trendy furniture and lighting to showcase as well as a chance to enjoy Chef Shea Stewart’s catering and cosy design vignettes created by Trudi Hamilton for Trudi Alexis Design Studio.
