#EyeOnMelissa: NCB branches to remain closed
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Commercial Bank (NCB) says all branches will remain closed on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, as Hurricane Melissa continues to impact the island.
In a statement on Tuesday, the bank shared that it will make the necessary assessments and reopen branches on Thursday, October 30, 2025, as soon as it is safe to do so for both customers and staff.
In the meantime, customers are encouraged to continue using NCB online banking, the NCB mobile app, and ABMs located at branch locations for available services.
“NCB stands with the people of Jamaica during this difficult time,” said Bruce Bowen, chief executive officer at NCB. “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the hurricane, and we remain committed to supporting the nation’s recovery efforts in any way we can.”
