Select NCB branches to open on Thursday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Commercial Bank (NCB) says eight of its branches will reopen on Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The branches that will be reopened are Duke Street, Half-Way Tree, Constant Spring, New Kingston, Portmore, University, May Pen, and Old Harbour.
This comes as part of its phased recovery efforts following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Melissa,” said Bruce Bowen, chief executive officer of NCB.
“We remain committed to standing with our customers, team members and communities as the nation recovers. NCB will continue to play its part in rebuilding and restoring lives and livelihoods, all while staying true to our purpose of building a better Jamaica,” he added.
The bank said assessments are still underway across NCB’s network, and additional branches will reopen once conditions are deemed safe.
Customers are encouraged to continue accessing their accounts via NCB online banking, the NCB mobile app and ABMs at available branch locations.
