Vybz Kartel, Jesse Royal, Lila Ike, Kezamdi and Mortimer to battle for reggae Grammy

Albums by Vybz Kartel, Jesse Royal, Lila Ike, Keznamdi and Mortimer have been nominated in the Best Reggae Album category of the 68th Grammy Awards.

The nominations were announced on Friday.

No Place Like Home has given Jesse Royal his second nomination. Vybz Kartel picked up a nomination for Heart & Soul, his second nod.

This is the first nomination for both Mortimer (for his album From Within) and Lila Ike, who has been creating waves with her Treasure Self Love project.

Blood & Fyah by Keznamdi is also nominated.

The 68th annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, 2026 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
