Mt Pleasant FA maintain number one spot in Concacaf club ranks
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Concacaf Caribbean Cup finalists Mt Pleasant Football Association (FA) retained their number one ranking in the Caribbean section of the Concacaf Club Ranking Index as of Monday, November 17th, the continental body announced.
Mt Pleasant FA, who have also qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup, are on 1,078 points and 68th overall in Concacaf. They are one of three Jamaican club teams in the top 10 of the Caribbean section.
The St Ann based club are ahead of Haiti’s Violette AC, who are second on 1,077 points, and Cibao FC of the Dominican Republic, who moved up to third place on 1,055 points.
Outgoing Caribbean Cup champions Cavalier SC are ranked fifth and Jamaica Premier League leaders Montego Bay United are seventh, respectively.
Cavalier SC are on 1036 points and Montego Bay United on 1021 points, both holding their positions for the previous classification.
