Body Studio Skincare ‘restores spirits’ with free facials, wellness shots
Citing its desire to restore spirits following Hurricane Melissa, Body Studio Skincare this week gave back to Jamaicans affected by the storm by providing free facial treatments and wellness shots valued hundreds of thousands of dollars.
At its medical spa in Montego Bay, the company performed over 50 free facials, each valued from J$10,450 to J$13,000, totaling more than J$550,000 in facial treatments.
It also administered over 30 free wellness shots, including glutathione shots, NAD shots, and B12 shots.
The initiative saw the spa welcoming long-time clients, new faces, and even visitors who traveled all the way from hurricane-ravaged St Elizabeth to be a part of the special day of healing.
Body Studio Skincare administered over 30 free wellness shots during its hurricane relief initiative.
“Our community was hurting, and we knew we had a responsibility to show up,” Michelle Vernon, CEO of Body Studio Skincare, said.
“Hurricane Melissa devastated the western region, leaving many without light, water, stability, and even hope,” she continued.” At Body Studio Skincare, we have always believed that wellness goes far beyond beauty; it is about dignity, confidence, and compassion.”
She said the company was grateful for the love, support and community spirit shown during the relief effort, and also expressed gratitude to her dedicated staff whose hard work and commitment made the event possible.

“Giving back during this time was not optional — it was necessary. Our staff, clients, and fellow Jamaicans have supported us for over 10 years, and this initiative was our way of serving them in return,” Vernon said. “Providing free facials and wellness shots may seem small, but for many people it offered a moment of relief, a chance to breathe, and a reminder that they are cared for.
“We wanted to restore more than skin — we wanted to help restore spirits. That’s the heart of Body Studio, and that’s why this initiative was so important to us,” she said.
