5 Christmas gift ideas for him and her

It’s that time of year again, the season when thoughtful gifts become a visual reminder of just how much we cherish the people in our lives. If you’re searching for the perfect present, here are five gift ideas each for that guy or gal to make this Christmas special.

For Her

1. Perfume
A timeless favourite. Choose a scent that matches her personality whether that be vanilla, floral or clean. Scents carry memory so make a solid impression this Christmas by hitting the right notes. The special lady in your life will thank you.

2. Luxury sandal
A stylish and practical option. Girls love a pair of shoes but add a little razzle dazzle with a luxury twist. Some favourites include Bridget, Tory Burch and Hermes. Now don’t go broke. If these are outside of your price range you can always opt for some of the other gift ideas on our list.

3. Skincare items
From serums to moisturisers, quality skincare products are always appreciated, especially during the holiday season. This gift idea is bound to give her that Christmas glow. Do some snooping if she already has a routine and get to shopping. If she doesn’t have one, always go for a cleanser, moisturiser or a sunscreen. Some companies already have these items packaged and ready to go. Check spas, beauty salons and pharmacies.

4. Jewelry
Necklaces, bracelets and earrings are all crowd favourites. Choose something elegant that she can wear year-round. A statement piece will always leave that special lady in your life speechless. You can even go the custom route and design your own creation for her, regardless you will knock it out the park with this one.

5. Handbag
A handbag is both fashionable and functional, the perfect mix for any woman on the go. You can either go bold or timeless with this gift idea. A good handbag should create a statement and complement multiple looks. Think of her lifestyle and her fashion sense and pick the bag to fit that special lady.

For Him

1. Cologne
A great-smelling cologne is a classic, well-loved gift. Choose something fresh, warm, or woody depending on his style. You can check his collection if he has one already or go for some of those scents that have all the rave.

2. Wallet
Every man needs a stylish wallet. When picking a wallet go for quality leather to ensure it lasts. Not only is this gift practical but it symbolises financial prosperity for the upcoming year.

3. Belt
A sleek belt elevates any outfit. It’s a practical gift that still feels personal. You can go designer or you can go for a clean, classic affordable belt. When choosing the right belt for that special guy in your life, think about his style, waist size and whether it is versatile.

4. Beard Kit
For the bearded guy, a grooming kit with oils, balms and combs helps keep everything looking on point. This gift can also work for those trying to grow a beard. When packaging the gift some must-haves include beard balm, trimmer, beard brush, beard and face wash and beard oil.

5. Spa day
Men need pampering too. A massage or full spa experience can help him unwind and recharge. This year has been a hard one, so treat that special man in your life to a day of relaxation.
