Tuesday February 3, 2026

The countdown to the 2026 Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run shifted into high gear on Sunday as Sagicor Foundation took over Broken Plate at Progressive Shopping Centre in Barbican for an intimate brunch experience with this year’s patrons, dancehall artiste Kemar “Ding Dong” Ottey, and World 100m champion Oblique Seville.

Between delectable bites of Chef Damion Stewart’s stylish spread and lavish pours courtesy of Select Brands, the atmosphere was relaxed. The afternoon carried a powerful purpose as Ding Dong and Seville mingled with guests to drum up support for the $150-million fund-raising goal to rebuild schools in western Jamaica following the devastation wreaked by Hurricane Melissa in October last year.

With DJ Rio spinning a soundtrack of chart-topping hits, it was the perfect atmosphere to fuel the countdown to race day on Sunday, February 15.

Page 2 brings highlights.
