Saint’s Tami Williams stars in new Tommy Hilfiger fragrance campaign

NEW YORK, United States — Jamaican supermodel Tami Williams is officially a ‘Tommy’ girl.

Securing her latest major client, the Saint International model stars in the freshly unveiled advertising campaign for renowned American designer Tommy Hilfiger’s signature fragrances, “Tommy Girl” and “Tommy”.

“I’m tickled with joy and proud to be in this new ad campaign for a true legend in American fashion,” Williams told Observer Online of the promotional campaign lensed on the streets of New York by photographer Matteo Montanari.

Tommy Girl has remained one of the super-competitive fragrance industry’s top-selling scents since its launch in 1996.

For Williams, who co-stars alongside American model Conrad Solaka in the co-ed fragrance ad blitz, “it was great shooting in the Empire State, as I am aware that Mr Hilfiger is a New Yorker himself. It’s my second home away from Jamaica, and the city always has a vibrant energy, and that’s felt and seen in the campaign images.”

An exuberant Deiwght Peters, Saint’s chief executive officer (CEO), was still celebrating Tami’s big commercial moment and taking congratulatory calls when Observer Online reached him Wednesday morning.

“Filled with gratitude and thankful for the blessings that Tami continues to be rewarded with in the industry with this new campaign,” Peters remarked.

“She’s an exceptional modelling talent that has sustained a career for 12 years now, since she debuted as an exclusive model as a teenager for Alexander Wang’s show at New York Fashion Week in 2014.”

The CEO noted that the new Hilfiger ad builds the growing list of Saint stars booked for fragrance campaigns. Brit Knight was featured in a 2023 Lancome campaign for its La Vie Est Belle scent, Kai Newman appeared in a 2016 Colors de Benetton blitz, and Kibwe McGann was a face for Puma in 2004.

Williams is one of the island’s most prolific model exports.

She has been featured in global advertising campaigns for luxury fashion houses Valentino, Balmain, Dolce and Gabbana, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.

The model has also been a face for mass-market campaigns for Express, Maybelline and Victoria’s Secret.
