ST JAMES, Jamaica — Former champions Faulkland FC made it two wins in a row after beating Norwood Strikers 3-0 in their St James Football Association/Sandals Resorts International Major League game played at Albion on Saturday.

Shanoy Anderson scored a brace to lead Faulkland FC to their second straight win and take over the lead in Zone A on six points, two more than Reggae Youths who were held 0-0 by Wadda FC at Jarrett Park.

Heights FC took over the lead in Zone B after Jevar Maxwell scored four times in their 6-1 win over 10-man Bogue FC also at Jarrett Park, leading Lilliput Rovers on goal-difference.

Anderson scored for Faulkland FC in the 12th and 30th minutes with Darnel Brissett scoring in the 53rd minute.

Maxwell scored in the ninth, 33rd, 35th and 63rd minutes for Heights FC, Michael Thompson scored in the 28th minute and Renique Campbell in the 38th minute while Sanjay Patterson scored for Bogue in the 49th minute.

Bogue FC played most of the game with 10 players after Nassan Brown was sent off in the 37th minute.

Lilliput Rovers, who also ended their game with 10 players, beat Cambridge United 3-1 at Spot Valley High.

Javahn Timberlake gave Lilliput Rovers the lead in the 20th minute and Andrian Grizzle doubled the advantage in the 27th minute before Cambridge United pulled a goal back when Rainnar Barnes scored in the 41st minute.

Romaine Robertson was sent off in the 74th minute after he was shown a second yellow card, 23 minutes after he was shown the first.

Despite playing a man short, Lilliput Rovers got a third goal when Davian England scored in time added at the end of the second half.

MoBay City FC won their opening game on Friday, beating 10-man Montego Bay Boys Club 3-1 at Wespow Park.

Nathaniel Foster sent MoBay City FC into the lead when he scored in the 20th minute and Tevin Leslie made it 2-0 in the 44th minute.

Matthew Thorpe halved the deficit when he scored in the 68th minute, but Boys Clun went down to 10 men in the 70th minute when Warren Rashford was sent off.

Seajay Campbell then restored MoBay City FC’s two-goal lead when he scored in the 83rd minute.

Also on Friday, Granville United ended their 1-1 draw against Real MoBay AFC with 10 players in their 1-1 draw at the Granville Community Centre, which saw six yellow cards being issued.

Ralick Peddie, who gave Granville United the lead in the 36th minute, was shown his first yellow card in the 54th minute and was sent off in the 87th minute when he was shown a second yellow card.

Garth Bromwell equalised for Real MoBay AFC in the 72nd minute.
