Humbert Davis, president of the National Association of Domino Bodies (NADB), believes his organisation has been driving initiatives to uplift educational standards across Jamaica.

“We’ve gone above and beyond to empower our young minds. Our efforts have sparked a love for learning that’s unmatched, and it’s reflected in the outstanding performances of our students,” Davis said.

Davis pointed to the Global Thinkers Academy, a NADB-backed programme, as a shining example of innovation in education.

“Their focus on critical thinking and problem-solving is exactly what our students need. We’re shaping the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators,” he said.

“We’re not just teaching; we’re inspiring. We’re showing our young people that with the right mindset and support, they can achieve greatness,” Davis added as he credited the academy’s hands-on approach to learning, where students apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems.

Davis concluded: “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, but we won’t stop here. We’ll continue to push the boundaries, create opportunities, and empower our youth to reach their full potential. That’s what it’s all about — making learning fun and accessible.”
