‘Jahvy Ambassador’ charged in Big Wall shooting incident
Police have laid charges against record producer Jahvel “Jahvy Ambassador” Morrison in relation to the shooting incident at the Big Wall carnival party on Sunday.
Morrison was charged with wounding with intent, using a firearm to commit a felony, and assault occasioning bodily harm. It came hours after the court ruled that the police should either charge Morrison or release him by 6:00 pm Friday.
Podcaster Jhaedee ‘Jaii Frais’ Richards, who was also involved in the incident, was earlier charged with a battery of gun and wounding charges.

Morrison is represented by King’s Counsel Peter Champagnie, Sayeed Bernard and attorney Richard Lynch.
He was taken into police custody in relation to the shooting incident, which saw three people injured, including Richards and a United States citizen.
One of the victims, who was a member of dancehall artiste 450’s entourage, was critically wounded but survived the attack.
A court date is pending for Morrison.
