30+ Fashion Show and Expo 2026 delivers style, empowerment and vision for the future

KINGSTON, Jamaica — It was a magical night of fashion, networking, motivation, and entertainment at the 30+ Fashion Show and Expo, staged on April 25, 2026 at Club ALIV in Naggo Head, Portmore.

Event conceptualiser, Stephanie Elliott-Gunning, expressed her excitement at the overwhelming support.

“This is my third staging. The first two were also held in Portmore, but I believe we’ve now truly found our home,” she shared referring to Club ALIV.

Body diversity was a huge factor in the 30+ Fashion Show and Expo

“Portmore was intentionally selected as the base for this event because I believe in the vision of the municipality becoming the ‘Miami of the Caribbean’. But what is a city without fashion? While I am exhilarated by this year’s success, my team and I are now positioning for something even bigger — Portmore Fashion Week— and we have already begun discussions with designers from across the Caribbean,” she added.

This year’s staging was elevated by an impressive lineup of designers, including Bebie Powell Designs, Yanique Designs, Kool Klothes, Vashmar’s, and Tweedle Teews. Powell teased her upcoming summer bikini collection, while Tweedle Teews captivated the audience with handcrafted bikini designs that were a crowd favourite.

Motivational speaker Patrice “Big and Boasty” Pinkney delivered an empowering presentation on “Becoming the Modern, Mature Woman”, while patrons were treated to standout performances from Delano McFarlane and reggae artist Lady Jo.

Patrons and participants alike praised the event’s impact. Jody, an attendee, shared: “I’m happy I came. I’m leaving with a better understanding of maturity, a deeper appreciation for fashion and I’ll be spreading the word about this awesome fashion show.”

Designer Nadine Pennicooke of Rocking Kool Klothes out of Montego Bay reflected on her experience stating, “I was nervous at first, as this was my first fashion show, but I’m good now. 30+ was a hit. The exposure has been tremendous. I’ll be back and look forward to working again with these amazing designers and models.”

Tashalee Richards Cooper of Vashmar’s Designs of Old Harbour, St Catherine also expressed high praise, noting that, “It was awesome. The models were friendly and professional, which made my job easier. I thank Mrs Elliott-Gunning for the opportunity and will definitely return.”

This year’s show also highlighted its continued evolution, featuring experienced models, including current and former titleholders and contestants from Mrs Universe, Miss Universe and Miss Cosmos.

With its steady growth and increasing influence, the 30+ Fashion Show and Expo is positioning itself as a signature event for Portmore.

“We have secured the commitment of JN Small Business to work alongside Compass Communication and our designers, as well as FESCO, two corporate businesses who are committed to the support of all, including female entrepreneurs, as we move forward. We eagerly anticipate what’s ahead,” Elliott-Gunning stated.
