Fashion Radar: Loeri, The Organic Mum

For this week’s spotlight on retailers, ahead of Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) puts mumtrepreneur Loeri Robinson under the fashion radar.

Her foray into the world of organics

I have always been a “spa girl” and wellness enthusiast from my teenage years. My mission in life is to help people make decisions that would immensely impact their quality of life and by extension the people they care about, which led me into the insurance/investment industry. However, upon starting this journey to strengthen financial lives as a financial advisor, I became hyperaware of the different ailments experienced by many; and began analysing the various ways in which they handled their respective treatments.

The one thing that stood out was nutrition and overall self-care as the main conduit to mitigate or prevent illnesses. This led me into a journey of starting a spa and eventually going to wellness expos overseas to attend workshops and do a deep dive into wellness based products that were not only good for persons, but were absolutely functional and palatable. This all gave birth to Unwind Distributors, which in all honesty started out as a hobby, but has now blossomed into a company I can truly stand behind as uplifting and nurturing Jamaicans.
