Styling with: Peter Lloyd
Friday, September 03, 2010
HE is one busy artiste these days — currently on stage in the latest revival of David Heron’s Against His Will, filming the next season of the local production, The Blackburns and he is also in the studio and on the road with his musical career. Throughout this, actor/singer Peter Lloyd says he always finds the time to put himself together well.
According to Lloyd, his key word when it comes to his personal style is comfort. “I am a big Tshirt, jeans and sneakers kinda person. But it’s not any ordinary jeans, tee or sneakers. I am not into labels when it comes to jeans, if it fits well, that’s me. But, I have a preference for sneakers by Puma — I have 50-odd pairs of
sneakers. Just really love the fresh, funky designs that Puma comes up with,” he explains.
For T-shirts Puma is also a favourite brand, but he also indulges in select tees designed by Natty By Nature and Island Magic.
It is therefore no wonder that a stop of Kingston’s The Puma Store is a must for Lloyd, as well as a stop at the popular Lee’s Fifth Avenue.
Peter Lloyd tops off his look by ensuring that his mane of locks is well maintained and by splashing on his favourite cologne by Issey Miyake.
