Airport ramp attendant held in Rockfort ganja find
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Members of the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) seized over 58 pounds of compressed ganja and $800,000 in cash during an operation conducted in the Rockfort area of Kingston Thursday afternoon.
According to the police, at about 12:15 pm two vehicles were seen parked along Sigourney Road in the area with the drivers acting suspiciously. They were accosted and searched along with the motor vehicles and the drugs and money found.
The men were subsequently taken into custody where it was later discovered that one is a ramp attendant at one of the international airports.
Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
