Man mobbed and killed in St Elizabeth

A man was beaten and chopped to death by an angry mob in Brighton, St Elizabeth yesterday after he was accused of robbing a group of churchgoers.
Another man, who is suspected of being his accomplice, was also injured during the incident. He has been admitted to hospital in serious condition.
Two other men who were allegedly involved in the robbery narrowly escaped the angry mob, police said.
Police report that the men have been implicated in a series of robberies in the business hub of Santa Cruz.
Yesterday morning, persons on their way to church in Brighton were held up and robbed by the four men.
Residents in the area conducted a search and the men were spotted and attacked by the mob.
