Sean Kingston visits August Town
Jamaican recording artiste Sean Kingston paid a visit to August Town last Friday where he met students of schools in the area, local deejay Sizzla, and Member of Parliament Andre Hylton who hopes to develop the community as a visitor attraction.
During the visit, Kingston also went to Judgement Yard and the church built by Alexander Bedward in 1894.
Bedward, an African-Jamaican healer, led the Jamaica Baptist Free Church in August Town between 1891 and 1921
