Hanover expo opens next Friday
HOPEWELL, Hanover – Opposition leader Bruce Golding will next Friday open the inaugural staging of the “Hopewell Exposition” on the grounds of the Bethel Methodist Church in Hanover.
The community-based group, New Tech Services, is staging the expo, which is being held under the theme “Marketing in the 21st Century and Beyond”.
“New Tech Services has recognised that the town of Hopewell needs a platform to showcase its goods and services and to promote the growth and development of trade and commerce in the region,” the company’s director of public relations, Vernal Campbell, told the Observer.
He added that more than 30 exhibitors from the fields of financial services, education, manufacturing, information technology and health services would be in attendance at the expo to display a wide range of goods and services.
They include the National Housing Trust and the Jamaica National Building Society as well as the National Health Fund and Access Financial Services.
In addition, a number of people from the community will be honoured for their outstanding contribution to various aspects of life in Hopewell.
