Correction

The lead story in yesterday’s Daily Observer incorrectly stated that Jamalco’s management had suggested in a statement that the alumina refinery would be closed in the face of a strike threat from the Union of Technical, Administrative and Supervisory Personnel (UTASP).

We regret the error and apologise to Jamalco.
