THE American College Personnel Association (ACPA) has selected student services and development manager for Placement and Career Services at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, Merrit Henry, as a 2008 ACPA Educational Leadership Foundation Diamond Honouree.

“The award has been made in recognition of Henry’s significant and sustained service to student affairs, to students, to the Caribbean Tertiary Level Personnel Association (CTLPA), and to the ACPA,” said a release from UWI.

The award is to be presented at the Diamond Honouree ceremony and reception to be held during the 2008 ACPA National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia between March 28 and April 2 next year.

The ACPA is headquartered in Washington, DC at the National Centre for Higher Education in the United States of America. It is the leading comprehensive student affairs association that advances student affairs and engages students for a lifetime of learning and discovery. The ACPA has nearly 9,000 members representing 1,500 educational institutions from across the USA and around the world.
