I used to take lunch to work four days per week and would treat myself to lunch on Fridays, but now I only treat myself one Friday per month. As for transportation, since the taxi fee increases I now get up early to catch the Jamaica Urban Transit Company bus instead of taking three taxis.
To cut back on expenses I now shop less. I used to buy at least three blouses per month, but now I am down to only one.
I have cut back on the amount of buses that I take to get to work; instead of taking two, I now take one. I have also cut back on the money spent on food. I am now buying patties instead of box lunches.
Sometimes I take lunches and home-made juices (to work) to cut back on the money that I would normally spend to buy expensive lunches.
Well, I have moved out of my apartment and have moved in at the doctor’s residence, which is closer to work. I can actually walk to work, and I sometimes I go home for lunch.

I sold my car and I am now car-pooling. In addition, sometimes I take lunch to work.
