Of Bolt…All You Need Is Love & How Come?

Tatler

Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! and for locals to boot… this the promise of National Works Agency boss Patrick Wong.

As the drama of the national airline continues to unfold and the remaining assets reviewed, seems Bolt is the only ‘thing’ left standing (correction, let’s make that running). Word is, though, that we can start with the yam fields and work our way up from there.

The refrain not so long ago was ‘All you need is love’ and yes, there was too, ‘If music be the food of love, play on’. Seems all that has suddenly changed and the focus is now on cash. Hmmm!… now whose influence could that possibly be?

And so what if gold fingers got bail?… he will have his day in court.

Eyebrows were raised but a job is a job, especially in these times. Let’s see, shall we, if the credit union becomes the ‘wray’.

Poverty Sucks! But so too does fat… although some are using the weight loss as an excuse for their pop- down state as they have never ever received a ‘shot’.

Well, wouldn’t you change your hairstyle?

A Bientot!

PS The grand total was $32,500 and the impressive- looking shopper left to go to her car to get the cash from hubby after her card declined thrice. How come she didn’t return?

PPS The quote of the week: “No darling, I don’t make supper. I make reservations.” And no it wasn’t Karen Neita!!
