Teachers back in the classroom
HUNDREDS of public school teachers who were on a two-day strike to vent their anger over government’s failure to meet their wage demands are now back on the job.
The teachers — who are represented by the Jamaica Teachers Association — have returned to the class room in time for Teachers Day.
Minister of Education Andrew Holness is now at the Winward Road Primary school where he will be teaching students for an hour.
