Short ‘n’ Sassy
When Lorraine saw Satara’s short-cropped do she instantly started beaming, as she especially loves working with short hair. With a few snips and turns, she quickly gave her a V-cut Mohawk in the back, then used shears to tidy up her hairline. A little Jamaican Mango & Lime Cactus Oil Serum was used for sheen, and Isoplus Braid Sheen & Holding Spray was used to keep the curls… we watched her go for thirty-two minutes, perfecting the stiff curls in the back and soft curls in front and just like that, it was over. So for all you fab chicas with short hair, we say try it on… see if it fits! Here’s how:
Step one
Using scissors and shears, trim along the sides of your hair (to the back), leaving the middle about two inches longer than the rest, then clip away any split ends you may have. * (It is best to get a professional or someone who is good at cutting hair to help you).
Step two
Use shears to tidy up the hairline if you prefer a sharper, edgier look. If you want to keep it soft and feminine, feel free to eliminate this step.
Step three
Moisturise your scalp with the hair/scalp oil of your choice, then part it in sections and use a small-barrel iron to curl it. For ‘stiff curls’ you will need to use spritz on each section of the hair before you curl it; these can last quite a few days but for softer curls, you can just use the curler then spritz everything with holding spray. Use a bit of your preferred brand of oil sheen spray to finish off the hairstyle for a look as fabulous as Satara’s.
