Correction re NHT’s reporting relationship
Dear Editor,
We wish to advise that your article published in the Sunday Observer of November 14, under the headline “Parliamentary committee shoots down plan to give PM public service portfolio”, contained an error regarding the time during which the National Housing Trust reported to the Office of the Prime Minister.
The article said that the NHT has been reporting to OPM since 2007. The Trust has in fact been reporting to OPM since its establishment in 1976, except for the period 1989-1994, when it reported to the Ministry of Housing.
