NINETEEN-year-old Oren Woodhouse otherwise called ‘Ray’ of Mayfair Mews, Spanish Town, St Catherine was shot dead by unknown assailant/s in his community yesterday.
The Spanish Town Police reported that about 6:45 pm, Woodhouse was walking along the roadway, when on reaching his gate he was attacked and shot several times. He died on the spot. The crime scene was processed and the body removed.
Investigations continue.
TWENTY-three-year-old Farmer Ragean Witter otherwise called ‘Ziggy’, of Park Mountain district, St Elizabeth was killed by unknown assailant/s in his community yesterday.
The Santa Cruz Police reported that about 4:30 pm, Witter left home to check on his goats and did not return home. Relatives along with members of the community carried out a search in the area when his body was seen. The police were alerted and on their arrival the body was seen in bushes with hands and feet bound and the throat slashed.
THE Bureau of Special Investigations is probing an incident in which a man was fatally shot by the police in Rhymesberry district, Clarendon about 1:00 pm yesterday.
The unidentified body is of dark complexion, medium build and about 175 centimeters (5 feet 9 inches) tall. He was wearing a black t-shirt, multicoloured short pants and a pair of white sneakers.
A Revolver with serial number erased containing two 9mm cartridges was allegedly seized during the incident.
