The Pembroke Hall Community Centre in St Andrew will be transformed into party central this New Year’s Day, As Mega Links — a community-based entertainment outfit — stages its annual event, Celebrity Look-A-Like.

The promoters have vowed to transform the community centre into the Pembroke Hall Mega Centre, bringing a Hollywood theme to the party.

Mega Links’ Damian ‘Dimmi’ Francis noted that this is the ninth staging of the event and this year’s theme is ‘Hollywood’s Elite’. “The community centre will be transformed in keeping with the theme. We will be re-creating the Hollywood walk of fame, complete with stars — the elite — just like the theme suggests, and giving patrons the ultimate party experience.”

This year, Mega Links stresses that the high fashion aspect of the annual New Year’s Day party will be maintained, and therefore urges patrons to come out ‘dressed to the nines’. This year party-goers will be treated to the turntable skills of Coppershot, Chris Diamond, DJ Inferno and other guest disc jocks.

Mega Links Entertainment is a promotions outfit made up of enterprising, young businessmen, who are playing a role in bringing high quality entertainment to the community in which they live. Over the years, Mega Links has been promoting community projects, athletic events and various parties with the aim of assisting various charitable ventures within Pembroke Hall.
