Revelations take aim at St James Super League lead
ALBION, St James — Revelations could take over the sole leadership of the St James Football Association’s Claro Senior League today if they can earn at least a draw from their first round game against Mountain Villa at Albion, set to start at 3:00 pm.
Revelation, losing finalists last season, are coming off a 2-0 win over Barrett Town on Thursday to be tied on six points with three other teams.
Barrett Town, Salt Spring Roses and Little Miami are also on six points as well.
Violet Kickers and Melbourne, both coming off their first win of the season, will meet at Mt Salem field, as they hunt back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Melbourne, who had edged Revelation 2-1, are on four points from two games, one more than Violet Kickers from the same number of games.
In another game set to be played at Sam Sharpe Teachers College, Boys Club will meet winless Salt Spring United, who have failed to win in three starts and are on one point.
