Proud of new pier
Dear Editor,
I feel extraordinarily proud of what I read about the Falmouth cruise ship pier! It finally came to pass. I believe there is credit to share between JLP and PNP administrations. I hope the potential can be developed fully for the re-creation of Georgian Falmouth and a working18th century sugar plantation complete with slave uprisings.
On the south side, the same thing must be done for pirates of Port Royal. Much of Italian tourism is based on the fabulous cities of Rome, Venice and Florence. We can build new tourism around Falmouth and Port Royal that would enhance our product and take us to $2-billion earnings. But protect, protect, protect. Send plainclothes officers – black and white – into every group of visitors so that evil men do not destroy.
