Disaster waiting to happen

This is an open letter to Speaker of the House and MP Delroy Chuck.
Further to my letter of January 18 for your immediate assistance regarding the Barbican Gully that runs between Barbican Way and behind Azmart down to East King’s House Road, I wish to remind you that if no action is taken tragedy will occur.
This stretch of gully is in dire need of immediate repairs – the floor of the gully is non-existent in sections and when it rains water is causing major erosion of land.
I am also writing to the prime minister in the hope that the Cabinet will assist you to get the money needed to fix the gully, I do hope the red tape of government will not strangle us in Barbican as we dangle over the edge of an inevitable disaster.
