Has Eva Longoria had wedding tattoo removed?

Has Eva Longoria had wedding tattoo removed?

They used to say a tattoo was forever. But thanks to modern technology, those etchings and messages intended to represent everlasting love can now be removed as easily as hearts can be broken. Eva Longoria appears to know a little something of the subject — the actress stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles last Friday with her famous wedding date tattoo noticeably absent from her wrist. It is currently unclear whether Eva, who turned 36 two weeks ago, has gone through with laser treatment to have the Roman numerals VII VII MMVII permanently removed, or if she was just testing the waters with some clever make-up. The Desperate Housewives star stepped out to dine at her restaurant Beso with friends in a shimmering grey dress. Where her tattoo — the date 07/07/07 used to be, her wrist appeared ink-free and bare. Tattoo removal rarely sees immediate results, with most patients undergoing several treatments with the ink fading over time. Longoria and San Antonio Spurs basketballer Tony Parker split suddenly in November amid allegations that Parker had cheated on her with his teammate’s wife. The actress has been dating Eduardo Cruz, brother of actress Penelope Cruz since January.

Could Nigella Lawson be losing her ‘mane’ attraction?

Take a lustrous black mane, toss gently and you have one of the key ingredients of Nigella Lawson’s success. The voluptuous self-styled Domestic Goddess is never less than immaculately coiffed as she presents her TV cooking shows. Away from the screen, however, the picture appears slightly different. Out shopping with a friend near her West London home, Miss Lawson was showing the merest hint of grey at the roots. And from the rear, there were clear signs of thinning at the crown. At the age of 51, she is of course far from the only woman in need of a little tonsorial TLC. “Hair loss in women can be a very common problem,” a dermatologist told the Daily Mail. “The female equivalent of male pattern baldness manifests itself much later in life.” Fortunately Miss Lawson can well afford to seek the best hair care available to restore her former glory. She and her second husband, advertising guru and art collector Charles Saatchi, 67, have a combined fortune estimated at £128 million.

“Mel and I are angry drunks”, says Gibson’s brother… but insists both been sober for four years

“Mel and I are angry drunks,” Chris Gibson has said of his movie star brother, after admitting he has lived his whole life in the shadow of the troubled actor. But the younger brother of Mel Gibson, 55, says the Mad Max star “hasn’t touched a drink for nearly four-and-a-half years.”

“Mel is doing it his way,” speaking of his battle with booze, Chris told The Times while revealing his own demons. Both brothers have struggled with alcohol addiction and Chris, who has now been sober for five years, says he turned to the bottle after constantly being compared to Mel. “I have spent my entire life in Mel’s shadow. Mel was creatively brilliant. Even when you had something clever to say he would always say something more clever. I always ended up getting pushed into the background and it had an impact on me,” he said.
