Pat Roxborough-Wright laid to rest
FORMER Jamaica Observer Editor at Large for the Western Bureau Pat Roxborough-Wright, was laid to rest at the Dovecot Memorial Gardens today.
The 42-year-old Roxborough-Wright passed away three weeks ago after a battle with illness.
During a thanksgiving service at the Open Bible Church on Washington Boulevard in St Andrew, fellow journalist Barbara Gloudon, recollected that Roxborough-Wright’s personality was irresistible.
“We were all in love with Pat. Pat never walked into a room, she bounded into the room,” Gloudon said during a tribute to the exemplary journalist.
Tributes were also paid by the Observer’s Executive Editor in charge of publications Vernon Davidson, the Carfolk Singers, the Press Association of Jamaica, the Norman Manley Law school, the LTM Pantomine, Merl Grove Past Students Association and colleagues and friends.
Rest well Pat.
