Consulting services approved for master drainage study

CABINET has approved consulting services for the Master Drainage Study Transportation Infrastructure Rehabilitation Programme to Stanley Consultants Incorporated in the amount of US$696,804.08.

Daryl Vaz, the minister responsible for information, said the objective of the study is the development of a comprehensive drainage and flood plan for the Kingston Metropolitan Area, Spanish Town and its environs, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Santa Cruz and Port Maria.

Vaz was speaking to journalists at the weekly post-Cabinet press briefing Wednesday at Jamaica House in Kingston.
