Maria Shriver leaked Arnold Schwarzenegger love child story

Maria Shriver leaked the story about husband Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child because she was so angry with him, it has been claimed. Gossip website TMZ.com has reported that Shriver was ‘hysterical’ when she discovered that Schwarzenegger had fathered a son with Mildred Baena and wanted to call a press conference to make the story public. But after her friends calmed her down, the idea of leaking the story to TMZ and the LA Times newspaper then started to form.

TMZ also claims Shriver first found out about Schwarzenegger’s love child in “late April or very early May”, and the news was the incentive she needed to end the marriage. Shriver is also said to have hired a private investigator to probe her estranged husband’s double life.

She wants to find out the truth behind recent speculation he may have more children out of wedlock. Shriver has asked the detective to look at both his personal and business affairs, according to Radaronline.com. An insider told Radar: “Maria needs and wants to know exactly what she is dealing with. The investigator will likely look into the claims that he fathered multiple children outside their marriage. Maria has heard the rumours and she wants to find out one way or another, if those claims are true.” It was reported earlier this month that Shriver wanted to get out of the marriage for the past two years, and had started looking for apartments in Beverly Hills in January. On May 9, Schwarzenegger, 63, and his wife Maria Shriver, 55, announced they were separating after over 25 years of marriage. Just one week later, on May 16, Schwarzenegger revealed that he had fathered a child out of wedlock, from an affair he had carried out during his marriage.

Catherine Middleton returns from honeymoon for meeting with the Obamas

It’s her first Royal engagement since her ever when she met the Obamas at Buckingham honeymoon, so perhaps nerves got the better of Palace on Tuesday. Like most brides, the Catherine Middleton, who looked thinner than Duchess of Cambridge shed pounds ahead of her wedding to Prince William last month, but it appears her ten-day break in The Seychelles did little to increase her appetite. Catherine, 29, showed off her tan in a knee-length ‘Shola bandage’ shift dress by favoured label Reiss, and a Maude clutch by Anya Hindmarch Bespoke. Catherine looked the picture of elegance as she chatted with Michelle inside the Palace. Meanwhile, the US President’s wife played it too safe, opting to wear a mint floral dress strikingly similar to the Queen’s.

Despite Michelle’s sartorial choice, Royal watchers say the Queen has taken a liking to the Obamas ever since meeting the couple during their 2009 visit to London. The Obamas spent two nights at Buckingham Palace after an elaborate arrival ceremony, and were toasted at an intimate banquet for about 200 royals and other dignitaries.

Swedish True Blood star Alexander Skarsgård smoulders on the cover of GQ

Here is Swedish hunk Alexander Skarsgård flashing his chest on the cover of US men’s magazine GQ. The star of three new movies: Battleship, Straw Dogs and Melancholia climbed to fame with his appearance in Zoolander and the American TV shows True Blood, in which he plays vampire Eric Northman, and Generation Kill. Skarsgård, 34, was brought up in Sweden, but his American accent has become so convincing that Peter Berg, the director of Battleship, didn’t even realise he was foreign until after he had hired him.

The Scandinavian heart-throb, who now lives in California, says he remains resolutely Swedish but that hasn’t stopped him loving the American way of life. “I like the way that in America you walk into a coffee shop and the girl asks how your day is. When I first moved here I loved that. I know it’s shallow and superficial and she doesn’t give a **** about my day, but I still like it,” he told the magazine.
