Use rain water
Dear Editor,
Have you ever stopped to consider the amount of rain water going to waste from the roof of your home and other buildings? Could consideration be made to harness this water, store it in simple metal drums or the regular “blank tanks” or concrete-built tanks?
The water could be used to flush toilets, wash vehicles, water lawns and potted plants, bathe house pets, wash pavements, etc. My grandparents are practitioners of this idea. Anyone can also be participants and beneficiaries. Waste not, want not!
