MOST of us TEENagers remember the once popular television series,The Famous Jett Jackson starring Lee Thompson Young who played a TEENage secret-agent on a fictional TV show-within-a-show called Silverstone.

The series which made its debut in October of 1998 lasted for three seasons, coming to a close in 2001 which gave way to Disney Channel’s release of Jett Jackson: The Movie, marking Young’s last appearance on the Disney Channel.

After its cancellation, Young managed to cop roles in other television series productions, but none quite as profound as The Famous Jett Jackson. He had made guest appearances in CBS’s The Guardian, South Beach and Smallville.

He also had roles in the movies, Akeelah and the Bee, Friday Night Lights and the Jamie Foxx movie Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story.

Young completed his latest movie in 2007 titled The Hills Have Eyes 2. He currently plays Barry Frost, partner of Jane Rizzoli on the TNT drama Rizzoli & Isles, and made an appearance on the Fox drama The Good Guys as the brother and business partner of an arms dealer.
