DIY Cupcake Topper
Themed parties for children appear to be quite the rage these days, and elements of the theme are carried through in all aspects of the décor. But it’s not always easy to find everything you will need to create the theme, so you really have to get creative and tun yuh han’ to achieve your goal.
Cupcake toppers are quite popular nowadays but you can’t always find your theme and not everything is food safe, so I came up with a crafty idea using toothpicks… they surely are food safe.
For this project you will need:
o Stickers in your theme.
o Twice the number of cupcakes you’re decorating.
o Toothpicks
And then:
1. Place stickers back to back at the tip of the toothpick.
2. Stick them in your decorated cupcake and you are done.
Just ensure the stickers don’t make contact with your cupcake, so use tall toothpicks or 6-inch skewers, depending on the size of your stickers.
