Looking for Richard Trent

I am trying to contact Mr Richard Trent on behalf of my sister Tammy. We live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Richard Trent would now be aged between mid to late 50s. In 1974-75 he worked as a seaman.
He used to live in Bayville in the West Indies with his mother and had two children (that we are aware of).
Last time of contact with Mr Trent was between 1996-1997.
Due to moving and the loss of documents, Tammy has not been able to make contact with him. Both of us have tried the telephone directory, but with no success.
