Holland PYC, Northampton square off in Under-20
Holland Police Youth Club and Northampton Football Club will square off in a top-of-the-table clash in one of three games in the fifth round of the St Elizabeth FA Under-20 league this weekend.
Holland, who won their two opening games and drew their third game will host the latter at Holland Village tomorrow. In the other games, joint league leaders Black River Youth Club will play away to Longwood, while Black River Young Strikers, who are without a win from three games, will be seeking their first win when they host Tafari Lions at the Black River High School playfield.
All matches start at 3:30 pm.
The Lance Morgan-coached Holland team beat Longwood 3-1 in their first encounter and whipped the Lions 3-0 in their second game and drew 1-1 with Black River YC, to put them on seven points.
Black River YC whipped their counterparts Black River YS 4-0 on July 2, drew 1-1 with Holland and beat Northampton 1-0. Tafari got their first win after outscoring Longwood United 4-3, while Round Hill and Black River YS drew 1-1.
Holland and Black River YC now lead the competition with seven points apiece and Northampton on six points.
